MSG actor compares himself to SRK, Hrithik

According to a PTI report, Dera Saccha Sauda sect chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh deferred a premiere of his controversial film MSG: The Messenger of God in which he claimed he has not tried to project himself as God or hurt any religious sentiments. Moreover, he even went to the extent of comparing himself to top Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. "We have been asked to remove two dialogues, both of which were spoken by my co-actors and not me. We have been also asked to include two warnings before the movie that it does not hurt any religious sentiments. Certain stunts have been performed in the movie. Even Shah Rukh Khan has stopped a train and Hrithik Roshan stopped a plane," the report quoted him as saying, when asked about his flamboyant portrayal in the movie.
The Messenger Of God is gathering a lot of steam on all social networking sites. The film has been trending on micro-blogging site Twitter with a lot of people tweeting in support of the film. MSG: The Messenger Of God was expected to release on January 16, 2015, but has been delayed. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the CBFC's revising committee denied a certificate to the film stating that it promoted blind faith and superstition. While the release of the film still remains to be seen, we bring to you some lesser known facts about the movie.
Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has apparently done several stunts in the film. According to a report in Bombay Times, Guruji has performed the action sequences in the film on his own. The report further stated that Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan apparently escaped a near fatal accident while performing one of the stunts. It required him to ride a quad bike, but in the opposite direction of the traffic. A report on Dailybhaskar.com quoted an action director saying that Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan had 104 degrees fever, but still he shot for all the stunts. The report further stated that Guruji had crossed a truck from a mere one inch gap.
He is not just an actor in the film, but according to IMDB, he is also the director, writer, musician and lyricist of the film. In real life he is the spiritual head of Dera Sacha Sauda. According to a report in Bombay Times MSG: The Messenger Of God is also produced by Saint Gurmeet Singh in association with Jeetu Arora. According to IMDB the film was shot in just 67 days.
