Director agriculture reviews status of remittance of sale proceeds

SRINAGAR, Feb 6: A review meeting regarding the outstanding and remittances of sale proceeds was held under the chairmanship of Director Agriculture Kashmir today. Director Agricu lture expressed satisfaction over the pace of remittances, for which February 4, 2016 was fixed as the deadline .He impressed upon all concern Officers to redouble their efforts to get the pending outstanding cleared from the defaulters and warned that any retention on account of sale proceeds by any officer shall be dealt sternly. Director Agriculture directed Joint Director Inputs to make elaborate arrangements, so that farmers of the Valley may not face any inconvenience. Director also instructed for early clearance of pending carriage vouchers of all districts. Joint Director Agricul ture Inputs, all Districts Agriculture Officers (Inputs) and Agriculture Assistants were present in the meeting.
