new delhi, may 14: India’s wholesale price inflation index (WPI) jumped to 8.30 per cent in April, from 3.88 per cent in March, primarily due to increase in prices of mineral oils, crude petroleum and natural gas, basic metals, other manufacturing and non-food articles.
