GDC R.S. Pura organized Nukkad Natak on the theme Menace of Drug Addiction

JAMMU, Nov 20: Drug De-addiction & Rehabil-itation Cell (DDRC) of GDC R S Pura in collaboration with Hill Thespian Theatre group organised a Nukkad Natak on the theme Menace of Drug Addiction. The event was organized under the patronage of worthy principal Prof Rajni Bhagat, Principal & supervision of Prof. Balwan Singh, Convener, DDRC. The thought-provoking street play performed by a talented team of Hill Thespian Theatre group led by Mr. Sunil Sharma in the central open area of the college. The team members of the group included Javed Gill, Irfana Bano, Rajan Bhatti, Sharib Khan, Jaan Mohammed & Amaan Sangral.
The engaging performances captivated the audience, effectively conveying the adverse effects of drugs through powerful storytelling. The natak shed light on the harmful effects of Drug Addiction and spread the message of inculcating good habits rather than indulging in drugs. Other than this, they also presented two acts on Swachhta & Misuse of internet. Principal of the college appreciated the presence of Hill The-spian group and motivated the students to imbibe the good learnings from nukkad natak in their lives too.
