Union Joint Secretary reviews preparedness for launch of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Doda

DODA Nov 23: Union Joint Secretary, Ministry for Devel-opment of North Eastern Region (DoNER), and Prab-hari Officer for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) for Doda, Angshuman Dey, today visited the district & reviewed preparations for launch of 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'.
Angshuman Dey interacted with the district officers and other stakeholders involved in the Yatra and had detailed assessment of the arrangements required for successful celebration of viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across the district. Union Joint Secretary visited the urban site at Town Hall Doda and rural site for the yatra in Bulan-dpur Panchayat to assess the arrangements and preparedness of the stakeholders for the upcoming mega outreach programme, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
He was informed that two IEC Vans will arrive and display the message of Prime Minister and awareness/success story videos under various centrally sponsored welfare schemes, in Doda town, near Clock Tower and in Bhaderwah at new Bus Stand, on 24th of November 2023.
He was further infor-med that 6 IEC Vans shall arrive in the district on 26th of Nov for rural areas, which shall move across the district in all 237 panchayat for awar-eness and saturation of all the Centrally Sponsored Schemes. Union Joint Secretary urged upon the stakeholders to organise camps & reach the unreached and vulnerable sections of the society. He emphasised dissemination of information through the success stories, pamphlets, small videos & IEC material regarding various go-vernment sponsored schemes. The detailed delibration was made on the achievements & further course of action to reach the saturation in implementation of welfare schemes in the district. The schemes which were discussed included Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayus-hman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mu-dra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRA-NAM Yojana, PMEGP, Ujwala Yojna, Urea Subsidy Scheme, Atal Pension Scheme, Jan Dhan Yojna, Integrated Sheep Husbandry Scheme, Mission Poshan, PM Vishwakarma, PMVVY and others.
