Soldier dies in suspected accidental firing in Poonch

JAMMU, Nov 23: A soldier died in a suspected accidental firing incident along the Line of Control in Poonch district on Thursday.
Police sources said that an "accidental" gun shot hit a soldier, Rifleman Madhu Singh of Jodhpur, near fence at Phagwari Gali in Mendhar Sector, resulting in his on the spot death.
"We are ascertaining the matter," the sources added.
