NSS Unit of GDC RS Pura organizes cleanliness campaign

JAMMU, Nov 24: NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College, R.S. Pura organized a Cleanliness Campaign under the supervision of Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS Program Officer and co-ordinated by Dr. Hari Singh and Dr. Sunil Kumar. The drive was carried out at Govt. Degree College, R.S. Pura. About 40 students participated in the drive by picking plastic items like wrappers, plastic bottles and polythene bags thereby cleaning the premises of the college. The volunteers cleaned the different paths and watered flowerbeds of the lawn of the college campus. Afterwards, they decorated the college park with coloured stones and deweeded the flower beds. NSS Volunteers also encouraged the other students in the college to maintain cleanliness in the college campus. The Principal Dr. Rajni Bhagat of the college applauded the efforts of NSS unit.
