Notorious criminal booked under PSA

Akhnoor, Nov 24: On an information received at PS Akhnoor regarding one notorious criminal namely Roshan Lal @Rosha S/o Sewa Ram R/o Nawa Khoo Sohal Teh Akhnoor District Jammu, who was evading his arrests in multiple cases.
Special police teams of PS Akhnoor led by SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma assisted by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq raided at the suspected place and arrested the notorious criminal.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant under PSA vide order No. 18 PSA of 2023 dated 01/10/2023 under section 8 (1) (A) of J&K Public Safety Act 1978 was also issued against the accused by District Magi-strate Jammu after receiving the dossier from district police against the accused. The said accused was habitual of indulging in criminal activities and there were various cases in which acc-used was involved. Details of the cases are as under:
(1) Case FIR No. 147/ 2009 U/S 382/341/ 147 /148/149/323/504 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of P/S Akhnoor., (2) Case FIR No 178/2011 U/s 341/323/34 RPC of P/s Akhnoor., (3) Case FIR No 87/2015 U/s 307/147/341/323/148/ 201 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of P/s Akhnoor., (4) Case FIR No 148/2015 U/s 354-D/504/ 506/109 RPC of P/s Akh-noor., (5) Case FIR No 177/2023 U/s 341/323 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act of P/s Akhnoor. & (6) one preventive measure of 107/117 Cr.PC of PS Akhnoor.
Finally today the warrant was executed and the accused was sent to Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
