Nupur Sanon on being compared with sister Kriti Sanon

Like Kriti Sanon, sister Nupur Sanon too has taken a plunge into the world of showbiz. While Kriti is quite experienced as an actor, Nupur who’s just started off used to get quite annoyed every time anyone compared both the sisters with each other when it came to their work. However, over a period of time things have changed for her.
The Pop Kaun? actress says, “Earlier, it used to bother me.
I feel if you are comparing two sisters, it is petty because the intent behind it is not correct. I do face these questions where they compare me and Kriti during interviews. Well, you can’t pit us against each other professionally, it is really unfair.
You are comparing a newcomer with someone who has an experience of nearly 10 years.
She’s at a certain level, especially after her filmMimi. She is a great actor and I aspire to reach that stage first.
Currently, mere liye bohot matter karta hai uska criticism or feedback. I never ever want to be in a situation where I disappoint her as an actor.”
Nupur has only received praises from Kriti for her performance in her web debut project Pop Kaun? After being a part of her music videos that showed her emotional side, the series saw her doing comedy. About Kriti’s reaction to the project, Nupur says, “She came out pretty surprised and told me, ‘I didn’t know you are so confident in front of the camera. She liked my dialogue delivery. She said I looked very natural. She always calls me the funniest member of my family. She said, ‘tu ghar mein jaise apne one liners se hasati hai, waise hi screen pe lag raha tha.”
