Placement drive held at GCW Parade

Jammu, Apr 25: Placement Drive held in GCW Parade Career Coun-selling and Traning and Placement Cell of GCW Parade have organized placement drive of two days (22 and 23 of April, 2024) for the outgoing students of the college under the able guidance of worthy Principal of the college Dr. Ravender Tickoo. The drive was held in collaboration with ICICI bank in further collaboration with NIIT IFBI for the designation/Role of Relationship Manager.
The resource people for conducting the placement drive were Mr. Himanshu Diwedi, Assist-ant manager (NIIT Ltd) and Mr. Lovepreet Kumar, senior Executive (NIIT Ltd). The drive was held for two days in the college. On the first day, counseling session was organized for the interested candidates wherein they were briefed about various job opportunities in banking sector. Further the students were oriented regar-ding the benefits of different courses and training programmes that banks offer for the undergraduate students.
They also brief the students regarding the job role of Relationship manager and the programme highlights like the training duration, package to be offered etc. Afterwards the counseling session the registration process was done for interested candidates followed by selection process which comprised of different rounds like essay writing, personality check followed by an aptitude test which consisted of english, mathematics, reasoning and general intelligence. On the second day the candidates were called for the final round of interview which was attended by all the selected candidates. About fifty students from different streams participated in this placement drive. The Event was coordinated by Dr. Gurpreet kour, Coord-inator Career Counselling Cell and Ms. Sonia Bhau, Coordinator, Training and Placement Cell.
