Cong will be extinct like dinosaurs: Rajnath

02/05/2024

BADAUN (UP), May 1: Defence Minister and Lucknow Lok Sabha candidate for BJP Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said that Congress will cease to exist like dinosaurs in the next decade.
Addressing a public meeting in Dataganj assembly of Aonla Lok Sabha constituency in support of BJP candidates Dharmendra Kashyap and Durvijay Singh Shauk, Rajnath said that Samajwadi Party (SP) is now moving ahead towards becoming a Samaptwadi Party, whereas Congress which encouraged corruption will also become extinct in 10 years.
He said that during the Congress regime, their Prime Minister had admitted that if they send Re 1 to the poor, only 12 paise is transferred to their account. "Today, during the regime of Prime Minister Modi, if one rupee is sent a cent percent amount reaches the account of the poor. Modi has freed the country from corruption by opening Jan Dhan accounts," he said.
The sitting Lucknow MP said, "Everyone was affected by the Corona crisis. The Corona vaccine is not made in our country, the PM talked to the scientists and said that we will spend as much money as is required but the vaccine should be made in our country. Scientists then prepared the corona vaccine. India is the only country in the world where its citizens received two to three corona vaccines. Everyone got the vaccine, some got two and some got three doses. People in America cannot claim that they have received two or three vaccines. We have done the work of giving the Corona vaccine to hundreds of countries around the world."
He said, "It was because of Mr. Modi's efforts to evacuate Indian students stranded in war-torn Ukraine that Russia and Ukraine stopped the war for four and a half hours. This is today's India. Even the guns came from other countries earlier. In 2014, we used to export only small nuts and bolts worth Rs 200 crore to some countries, today we have exported goods worth Rs 21,000 crore to the world. We are selling bombs, cannons, BrahMos. Even in the defence sector, India is rapidly becoming self-reliant."
