SSP Jammu conducts inspection of far flung Border Police Post Jogwan in Sub division Akhnoor

Akhnoor, May 10: Today on 10.5.2024 SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS conducted inspection of Border Police Post Jogwan. During the visit he was accompanied by SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma-JKPS and SDPO Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Sharma-JKPS, SHO Khour, Inspector Neeraj Choudhary, Incharge PP Pallanwala and Incharge BPP Jogwan.
During his visit he conducted casual inspection of the Border Police Post Jogwan and checked various registers/ records which are currently being maintained in all the police post of Jammu District, as part of proactive policing.
Thereafter he was apprised regarding the functioning of the post and the emerging challenges in border areas.He also held the security review meeting of the area with concerned officers and on spot directions were given to have a joint naka with army in vulnerable areas. Apart from this brief VDG members to remain extra alert. Some welfare oriented issues of jawans were also resolved on spot & those pending will be resolved on priority.
