Police registers FIR over circulation of sensitive content on social media

SHOPIAN, Nov 12: Police have taken cognizance of a viral video circulated through a Facebook page titled “Voice of Humanity”, wherein a speech was delivered encouraging separatist tendencies and activities aimed at disturbing peace and public tranquility.
In a statement, In this connection, FIR No. 109/2025 has been registered at Police Station Zainapora, and investigation has been set into motion.
Shopian Police reaffirm their commitment to maintaining peace and public order and will continue to take firm legal action against those attempting to disturb harmony or misuse social media platforms.
