Director Agriculture Jammu reviews field activities, chairs FNT at Dansal

JAMMU, May 15: Dire-ctor Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta today conducted an extensive tour and inspection of Sub Division Dansal to review the implementation of the agricultural and developmental programmes being carried out in the area.
The Director inspected the office of the Sub Divi-sional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) and reviewed the functioning and ongoing activities of the subdivision. He also participated and chaired the Fortnight Training Programme (FNT) being conducted at the SDAO Office in accordance with the directions issued by the Directorate for regular conduct of FNTs across all districts and subdivisions.
The Director Agricul-ture also launched a book titled "Meri Pehchan Meri Panchayat" containing de-tailed information regarding various projects, sche-mes and developmental activities being impleme-nted by the Agriculture Department in 40 Panch-ayats of Sub Division Da-nsal. The publication also includes basic Agriculture data of all Panchayats fal-ling under the subdivision.
The Director Agricu-lture also participated in a plantation drive organised in the office premises as part of the departmental beautification & cleanline-ss campaign.
