MLA Randhawa inaugurates drainage, lane improvement works in Jammu’s Ward 47

Jammu, May 15: Bahu MLA Choudhary Vikram Randhawa on Friday inaugurated development works, including upgradation and covering of drains and allied civic infrastructure projects, in Ward No. 47. The inauguration was carried out in the presence of former corporator Sharda Kumari, officials of the Jammu Municipal Corpo-ration (JMC), including the concerned Junior Engineer, and local residents.
Addressing the gathering, Randhawa said impro-vement of drainage facilities & internal lanes in the area had been a long-pen-ding demand of residents.
He said providing better civic amenities and addressing public issues remained a priority and added that the ongoing works would improve sanitation, drainage management and ease of movement in the locality.
The MLA said development projects aimed at strengthening basic infrastructure in Bahu constituency would continue in the coming period. Randhawa reiterated his commitment towards overall development of the constituency and assured residents that additional public welfare works would be taken up. Local reside-nts appreciated the initiative and thanked the MLA for addressing what they described as long-pending civic demands.
