18 police officers transferred, several SHOs reshuffled

JAMMU, Aug 1: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle of police officers in Jammu district, transferring 18 officers, including inspectors, sub-inspectors and assistant sub-inspectors, with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Joginder Singh, the transfers were approved by the Police Establishment Board, District Jammu.
Under the order, Inspector Jai Paul Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Gandhi Nagar to Police Station Bahu Fort as Station House Officer (SHO), while Inspector Raghubir Singh has been shifted from District Police Lines (CRT/ESU Lab) to Police Station Gandhi Nagar as SHO.
Inspector Shariq Majeed has been posted as SHO Janipur from District Police Lines, whereas Inspector Vikram Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Janipur to District Police Office (DPO) Jammu as Reader.
Inspector Arun Koul has been shifted from DPO Jammu to Police Station Bakshi Nagar as SHO, Inspector Rakesh Kumar from SP South Office to Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu as SHO, Inspector Rattan Singh from District Police Lines to Police Station Peer Mitha as SHO and Inspector Balram Sharma from District Police Lines to Police Station Kanachak as SHO.
Inspector Naresh Sharma has been transferred from District Police Lines to District Police Lines (Incharge CRT/ESU Lab), while Inspector Sushil Choudhary has been shifted from Police Station Bahu Fort to Police Station Akhnoor as SHO.
Among the subordinate officers, Sub-Inspector Sunil Kumar has been transferred from Police Post Sarwal to Police Station Bishnah as Investigating Officer, while PSI Lalit Sharma has been posted as Incharge Police Post Sarwal from Police Station Bahu Fort.
PSI Sohan Singh has been posted as Incharge Police Post Phallian Mandal from Police Station Bishnah, while PSI Naresh Kumar has been transferred from Police Post Phallian Mandal to Police Station Bahu Fort as Investigating Officer.
PSI Kunal Sharma has been shifted from Police Station Gandhi Nagar to Police Station Khour, while PSI Ankush Sharma has been transferred from Police Station Khour to Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Mohd. Aslam has been transferred from District Police Lines to Police Post Gujjar Nagar, while Assistant Sub-Inspector Ved Raj has been shifted from Police Post Gujjar Nagar to Police Station Gharota.
The order stated that all the transferred officers shall be relieved forthwith to enable them to join their new places of posting immediately.
