Ashok Koul reviews BJP organisational activities, preparations for Tiranga programmes

JAMMU, Aug 10: BJP Jammu and Kashmir General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul chaired a series of organisational meetings at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar to review ongoing activities and finalise preparations for forthcoming organisational and public outreach programmes.
The meetings were attended by BJP J&K General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria, Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, besides MLAs and other senior party leaders.
Discussions focused on strengthening the organisational structure, improving coordination and mobilising workers at different levels for the successful conduct of upcoming programmes.
Special emphasis was laid on the ongoing Tiranga Yatras, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Vib-hajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas and further strengthening the party's booth-level network.
Addressing the meetings, Ashok Koul said a strong organisational structure was essential for effective party functioning and urged leaders to ensure active participation of workers in all forthcoming programmes.
He stressed the importance of strengthening booth-level activities and making every booth an effective centre for organisational work and public outreach.
Koul said the Tiranga programmes represented the country's unity, the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the spirit of nationalism.
He called upon party workers to connect with people and take the message of patriotism to every household through the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
He also said Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas should serve as an occasion to remember the consequences of Partition and reinforce the importance of preserving the unity and integrity of the country.
Baldev Singh Billaw-aria called upon district, mandal and booth-level functionaries to work in close coordination and ensure disciplined implementation of organisational programmes. He said greater public participation would further strengthen the party's connect with the people.
