NATF inducts over 100 members in Akhnoor, calls for united fight against corruption, terrorism

Akhnoor, Sep 1: The National Anti-Terrorism Front India (NATF) organised a special programme here on Tuesday, with over 100 people joining the organisation and pledging to work for a corruption-free and terrorism-free India.
The programme, organised by NATF State Secretary and In-charge Protocol Rabia Khajuria at Mahaveer Sweet Shop, Pannu Chowk, began with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp. Khajuria also conducted the stage proceedings and managed the arrangements.
Addressing the gathering, NATF National Chairman Vishal Chopra said every citizen has a responsibility towards strengthening the country and described terrorism as a serious challenge to national security and unity, while corruption weakens the system from within.
"We do not merely have to discuss problems; we must also stand firmly against them," Chopra said, urging citizens and youth to actively raise their voice against wrongdoing and work in the national interest.
He said NATF was committed to strengthening the unity, integrity and security of the country and thanked the people of Akhnoor for joining the organisation in large numbers.
A 20-minute anti-corruption street play titled "Bhole Ram Da Jeev" was also staged during the programme, highlighting the difficulties faced by ordinary citizens because of corruption and its impact on society.
NATF National Advisor Abhishek Kapoor, National Joint Secretary Anshuman Chopra, General Secretary Virendra Mahajan, General Secretary Vimal Sabharwal, Chief Spokesperson Harish Raina, State Media In-charge Gurmeet Dutta, State Joint Secretary Baldeep Kour, State Secretary Bageshwar Khajuria, District President Ravinder Sharma, NATF Udhampur Youth In-charge Pankajm Kerni and Pir Panjal President Arshad Nawaz Khan were among those present.
The programme was attended by Chief Guest SDM Mukhtar Ahmed, Special Guest SHO Sushil Chaudhary, Shyam Singh Lange, Raman Kumar Gupta, Anav Langer, Shyamlal Mangotra, Kuldeep Kour, Dr KCS Mehta, Kamla Sharma, Dr Sudhir Mahajan, Sonia Sharma and Rajinder Kumar Narang.
