ADDC Samba reviews District Capex 2026-27, JK Samadhan Registrations

SAMBA, Sep 11: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Samba Champa Devi today chaired a meeting to review the progress achieved under the District Capex Budget 2026-27 and the status of registrations and grievances redressal on the JK Samadhan Portal.
The ADDC exhorted the Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Rural Engineering Wing (REW) to pull out all the stops in expediting the tendering process and ensuring the early allotment of works, thereby laying the groundwork for their timely execution.
Giving a detailed account of the progress, the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Rafiq Ahmad Jaral informed the meeting that nearly 90 per cent progress has already been achieved in the allotment process and identification of L1 bidders. He assured that the process would be brought to fruition to the tune of 98 per cent by September 15, 2026.
The ADDC directed the executing agencies to nip bottlenecks in the bud, adopt a proactive approach and ensure that all sanctioned works are completed within the stipulated timelines. She underscored that implementation must remain on an even keel and that there should be no let-up in the pace of execution, in accordance with the directions of Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan.
The meeting also undertook a detailed review of registrations and pending grievances received through the JK Samadhan Portal. The ADDC directed the concerned officers to ensure that the targets assigned by the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba during the meeting held on September 5, 2026 are achieved.
