LG Sinha releases ‘Living the Gita Today’ at Lok Bhavan

SRINAGAR, Sep 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday released the book "Living the Gita Today", authored by Prof Vandana Sharma, Dr Shachi Sood and Dr Vinay Kumar, at Lok Bhavan.
Congratulating the authors, Sinha appreciated their effort to present a contemporary interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita and examine its relevance to modern challenges, including inner conflict, stress, leadership, purpose and ethical living.
Published by Allied Publishers, Noida, with the support of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, the book is structured into 10 chapters and discusses 90 selected verses from the Gita.
The book seeks to connect Indian knowledge traditions with contemporary life and explore the continuing relevance of the Gita's teachings in addressing modern challenges.
