Delegation seeks stronger rail connectivity between Jammu, Uttarakhand

Jammu, Sep 19: A delegation comprising Pawan Kumar Shastri, President, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, Jammu/Haridwar; Raj Kumar Gupta, President, Jammu Kashmir Gau-Raksha Samiti; Anil Gupta, Senior Vice President, Jammu Chamber of Commerce; and social worker Raman Gupta called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here on Saturday.
The delegation raised the demand for strengthening direct rail connectivity between Jammu and Uttarakhand.
The members also discussed matters related to the promotion of religious tourism in the region and highlighted the need for improved connectivity to facilitate pilgrims and tourists travelling between the two regions.
